Onvocal is a Boston-based startup that set out to create OV, the world’s first headphone with untethered access to Amazon Alexa and an unmatched set of voice and sound control services.

In a very crowded headphone market, Carve differentiated OV by focusing on their direct, exclusive connection to Amazon Alexa and Amazon Voice and Music Services. OV was introduced for pre-sale orders just prior to the 2017 holiday shopping season with Carve securing in-person demos and briefings with consumer and trade publications that led to coverage in TechCrunch, Digital Trends, Fast Company, PC Magazine, DealerScope and SlashGear, among others. Carve also executed an outreach campaign for Onvocal at CES 2017 which resulted in OV being featured by the Associated Press, BBC, Boston Globe, and Ars Technica.

The awareness generated for OV at launch and at CES helped Onvocal secure a national retail distribution deal with InMotion as well as led to a $4 million angel investment.
