InstruMMents is a Montreal, Canada based firm focused on making every day experiences more elegant. Founded by the designers of the MisfitShine and the team at Pearl Studios, InstruMMents turned to Carve Communications to help drive greater awareness and more coverage for the 01, the world’s first “dimensioning instrument”.
InstruMMents wanted to reach the design community to illustrate the value of a first of its kind device like the 01 to an audience that was identified as key ambassadors of the unique product value. To do this, Carve immediately conducted an extensive outreach campaign targeted top tier design and creative blogs to secure reviews of the 01 and the creation story behind it. In addition, Carve focused on the most authoritative technology and innovation media to highlight the uniqueness of the 01. Results were immediate as Carve secured coverage within key targets such as Design Milk, Better Living Through Design and Apartment Therapy. Additionally, Carve secured features and reviews within Digital Trends, Huffington Post, Popular Mechanics, Mashable among other high profile media outlets.
In all, Carve Communications secured coverage totaling more than 500 million impressions in the first 6 months after launch.
