Big Bang Markets Limited, a Hong Kong-based lifestyle technology company, set out to unveil the CabinR Discovery Backpack and the CabinR Vista Messenger Bag, the world's first travel bags designed to protect unattended belongings on a plane, bus or train, at CES 2018. But for a small company with no presence in the US or CES experience, Big Bang faced a daunting challenge to not only generate awareness, but to launch and conduct a successful crowdfunding campaign to initiate their sales efforts.

To help CabinR achieve their goals, Carve executed comprehensive outreach efforts before and during CES, with a goal of embargoed coverage surrounding the launch of their crowdfunding campaign, and by setting briefings at the CabinR booth within Eureka Park to sustain awareness and drive further coverage throughout the year.

Carve succeeded in securing a feature in Engadget which ran the morning the crowdfunding project went live and helped CabinR exceed their goal in less than 6 hours. Additional coverage was landed during CES on CNET, Yahoo! and AskMen.com. Along with traditional media features, Carve team members on site at the CabinR booth were able to engage a number of high-profile influencers in attendance at CES to post live videos to their social channels featuring CabinR. In total, Carve Communications secured over 25 placements with a reach of more than 160 million impressions.
